Experience “Tainan Lòng Story,” start from entering alleys and lanes.
Tainan is the oldest city in Taiwan. The image of city, besides roundabouts, is well-known for its intricate lanes that have existed since hundreds years ago and possessed historical memory. For example, the lane in front of the entrance has been existed before Qing Dynasty. On the side of the road, there is a small stone tablet that used to commemorate being one of the eight scenic spots in Taiwan and providing people sea watch and listening to ocean waves. Next to it is the architectural relic “Taixia Road Office” unearthed from Yongfu Elementary School. It was a place where government officials and literati often visited during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty C.1662.
